About the role

This role is an exciting opportunity to join our expanding field services department which has skillset-based progression opportunities within the role.

We’re looking for an experienced IT Field Engineer with a strong technical support background who ensures excellent standards and customer experience are delivered.  

We’re looking for someone who is driven and enjoys taking control of situations to help resolve technical issues.



  • Ensures all incidents and technical issues are resolved effectively, quickly and recorded appropriately
  • Traveling to customer sites for break-fix and chargeable incidents
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues
  • Deploying new hardware and software solutions
  • Assisting in project work
  • Installing and migrating customer networking equipment
  • Ensuring the highest level of customer service is provided

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

A high level of technical skills is essential for this role, with a fundamental understanding of Networking, Microsoft products and Virtualisation.

No formal qualifications are essential for this role, however, the successful candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role, will have attained a good all-round standard of education and have a strong knowledge of current IT technologies.


Location and Working Arrangements:

The position offered is from our Watford office. However, you may, on occasion, be required to work at customer locations throughout the UK.


Reporting and Department:

The role will report directly to the Field Services Manager.


Hours of Work:

Hours: 37.5 per week with shift patterns between the working hours of 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday.



£26,000 - £34,000 + Car
